Effects:

Cannatonic:

If you’re looking for a way to unwind after a long day, then theres nothing better than Cannatonic. This relaxing strain is a good mix of CBD and THC which means you can mentally unwind while still getting some physical relaxation from the CBD content. Along with this, the high still provides mental clarity so you don’t feel foggy. Because of the CBD content it also does a good job at reliving anxiety and mental anguish, which truly helps you relax.

Harlequin:

This strain is super CBD focused which means it’s an excellent medicinal strain for those who need some relief. With a 10%+ CBD content it is amazing for helping with physical ailments as well as mental relief. I’ve found that when I use this strain all my constant pain and soreness goes away and I my anxiety washes away. The strong anti-inflammatory effects of this strain make it perfect for anyone looking for physical relief for diseases such as fibromyalgia.

Yield Amount:

Cannatonic:

This is a solid yield amount strain. It features about 500 grams per indoor plant, and around 400 grams per m2 outdoors. I’ve found that this strain is produces some pretty dense and beautiful buds which make it smell delicious.

Harlequin:

Harlequin is one of the larger yielding strains I’ve ever seen, and usually produces indoor yields of around 700 grams per plant and an outdoor yield of 600 grams per m2. I personally love the deep green color that this strain yields that occasionally features some vibrant orange and red peaks.

Genetics:

Cannatonic:

Cannatonic strain comes from a pretty high profile family. It’s first parent is the commonly known New York City Diesel which has a high CBD ratio which was partially passed down.

The other parent is the Reina Madre which is a lesser known sativa based strain which helps to bring a mix of calming and physical relief.

Harlequin:

Harlequin comes from genetic royalty, from some extremely popular and traditional Landrace strains, Columbian Gold, Swiss and Thai Sativa landraces, and Nepali indica.

This mix of heritage means that this strain is an absolute powerhouse when it comes to medicinal effects. The high CBD content of the strain means that it will kick all your lingering physical ailments to the curb!

Harlequin or Cannatonic, Which Is The Better Strain?:

If you’re only looking to purchase one of these strains, then you need to decide what you’re actually looking for in a strain. To put it simply, if you’re looking for a medicinal strain, then I would 100% recommend the Harlequin, because it has near 10% CBD content which will mean you’ll get more of those medicinal effects. That being said, if you’re looking for pure relaxation or looking to mellow out, then I would recommend the Cannatonic. It has a slightly higher THC content which gives you a nice relaxing high which allows you to unwind throughout the day. This strain gives some people a slight couch lock sensation, but overall it’s great for relaxing.
