About BC Seeds

Mr. BC Seeds has been a Cannabis Seed Breeder since 1974. He is their mysterious founder, and in 1998 he opened the first marijuana seed bank. It was one of the first seed banks in all of North America. They are currently located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

BC Seeds claims to have the world’s strongest cannabis seed with the highest THC levels. Some of their well-known strains include Forever Buds, Multiverse God Bud, Walking Dead Bud, Space Buzz Continuum Bud, Oracle Bud, Elephant Bud, and Euphoria Unlimited Bud. Their most well-known strain is undoubtedly Sky Heaven Bud because it is advertised as the strongest weed in the world. BC Seeds has poured millions into its research and development program.

Seed Quality – 4.5/5.0

The overwhelming opinion on their seed quality is positive. They have a reputation for being one of the best Seed Banks in all of North America. They truly do have incredibly strong THC levels. They received the accolade of having the Top Seed Bank for 2016. Many of their seed packs have a 100 percent germination rate guarantee.

With great quality, however, can come pricey products. The Alaskan Delight currently goes for 600 hundred, and that’s considered a “sale”. When asked why their products were so expensive, the mysterious owner Mr. BC Seeds claimed he almost died in an avalanche getting cannabis seeds in a remote part of Asia.

In 2008, they released their most powerful strains. Among them, was it’s famous Elephant Bud which received the award “World’s Strongest Strain” in 2008.

Due to their high THC levels and positive reviews by both customers and critics, they receive a high rating for this category.

Best Alternatives:

Strain Selection – 5.0/5.0

BC Seeds prides themselves on their wide variety of strains. They have upwards of 300 different strains.

On their website, you have the ability to filter by type of strain. You can filter by price, qualities, genetically modified, low altitude, high altitude, etc. Their products go in a great deal if you click on the additional information tab. It gives information such as THC percentage, flowering times, harvesting month, taste, low odor, and buzz length.

They offer cannabis seeds from numerous different types of plants, which is not always the case. Additionally, they offer coca plant seeds, poppy seeds, and Salvia Divinorum.

Due to their wide variety of strains, they receive a perfect score in this category.

Customer Support: 2.0/5.0

Unfortunately, they are not known for their amazing customer service. They claim to be able to respond within hours, yet most reviews report the average response time being days. A decent amount of customers even reported that they never received a response from customer support.

If you wish to contact customer support, one method is via their website. At the top right of their page, there is a tab that says Contact. Once on the page, they simply ask for your name, email address, and a message.

This is the first category that they have a severe deficiency in and is definitely a category BC Seeds needs to improve on.

If you’re looking for a seed bank with excellent customer service, then ILGM offers the best available!

Payment Methods: 5.0/5.0

BC Seeds offers a variety of payment methods. Bank Transfer International, Cash Domestic, Cash International, Cryptocoin, Mastercard Credit Card, Amax, Visa, and Wire Transfers. If you check out purchasing with a cryptocurrency they offer a 10% discount off your entire order. Some people enjoy the anonymity of using bitcoin. Overall, this is a great number of payment methods to be offered. While they don’t offer every credit card, Bitcoin is relatively easy to purchase and to compensate for the inconvenience they offer a nice 10% discount. They pride themselves on the fact they have never had a single order intercepted.

Shipping: 4.0/5.0

They offer two different shipping methods. Registered shipping which comes with an additional cost and free shipping. The benefit of getting registered shipping is that it provides proof of mailing and/or delivery. Obtaining the delivery requires a signature, and you will be provided with a receipt, a copy of the signature, as well as the date delivered. This service costs an additional $14.50.

While the fee for registered shipping is fairly steep, the vast majority of customers will likely receive free shipping. BC Seeds ships worldwide, all you have to do on their website is register with an email address.

Discounts and Promotions: 3.5/5.0

Scouring through the internet as well as their website, there were not many promotions to be found. Many of their products are currently on “sale”, but still for an expensive price. They do, however, offer freebie marijuana seeds with a variety of purchases. These freebie seeds are never older than 3 months old. While they already experience a large amount of business, they would certainly benefit from offering more coupons or promotions to their customers.

Final Thoughts Of Our BC Seeds Review:

Overall, it seems as though BC Seeds seed bank offers a very high-quality product. They are well respected in the industry, with great reviews. Their plants inarguably have high THC content. While their products are expensive, most people find it worth the price tag. They ship worldwide and offer a wide variety of methods for purchasing.

Their only real downsides are their poor customer service and severe lack of discounts and promotions. They definitely have loyal customers who are willing to pay a premium for their products, so they must be doing something right. That being said, if you’re really looking for a seed bank to use I’d suggest Seedsman or ILGM simply because customer support is much better, and prices are much much better.

In terms of quality and a wide variety of products, they definitely are top tier. If you are just getting started, this may not be the best website to do the price. However, if you are familiar with all the different types, or simply want to get acquainted with all the different strains, this is the company for you.

Overall Rating: 3.7/5.0
